These are a rare and detailed vintage pair of Mikimoto Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl grape dangle screwback earrings. 

The pearls are highly lustrous with rosy overtones and measure 3.75-4.25mm. They are set among hand engraved and milgrained leaves with high polished vines. The bottom cluster of pearls move freely.

They are made of solid sterling. Stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "S" in a square for sterling silver. Measure 1 1/8 inch long. From Japan 1930's-1980's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
