This is an exceptional quality Mikimoto Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl circle leaf brooch.

The pearls are 6.00mm round. They have fantastic luster with bright rosy overtones. They are set into a circle with high polished leaf accents. 

It is made of solid sterling silver. It is stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "S" in a square for sterling silver. It measures 1 1/4 inch across. From Japan 1950's-1980's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
