This is a vintage Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl cadge pendant.

The pearl measures 6.75mm round and has great luster with rosy overtones. It is a white color. It is surrounded by a silver drop shaped cadge. 

It is made of solid sterling silver and is petite. It measures 7/8 inch total including the bail. It is not stamped but tests as solid sterling silver. From the 1950's-1980's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
