This is a vintage tiny natural Japanese saltwater akoya keshi pearl and white gold necklace.
It features rare natural keshi pearls. Keshi pearls are natural pearls that result from the culturing process. They do not have a bead core and form inside the oyster alongside the cultured pearls. The pearls are white in color with light pink overtones. They are very small and range from 1.75-4.75mm.
Total length is 16.50 Inch. The clasp is a filigree fishhook style and is stamped "14K" for solid gold. From Japan 1910-1940's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
