This is a mid-century strand of Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls measure 5.75-6.00mm and round. They have good luster with rosy pink overtones and a light to medium amount of blemishes. Some pearls have better luster than others.
Clasp is a square filigree style. It is stamped "STERLING" for sterling silver. Total length is 16.50 inches. From 1940's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
