This is a vintage designer Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl circle pin with a simple mid-century design by De Curtis.
The pearl is 4.50mm and round. It has great luster with rosy pink overtones.
It is made of solid sterling silver and features a high polished circle with a a brushed leaf or ribbon design. It is stamped "STERLING" and "DCE" for the designer. It measures 1 1/8 inches long. From mid-century.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
