This is an amazing Etruscan revival brooch featuring copious amounts of Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.

The pearls are 3.50-6.00mm round. They have sharp luster with bright rosy pink overtones. They are a white/cream color. They are set among cannetille designs in a filigree setting.

It is made of solid sterling silver with bright gold plate. Stamped "STERLING"  on the back. From 1940-1960's. It measures 2 inches across. It has a a pendant loop and can be worn on a chain.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. Light wear to the plating near the edges and on the pin back.
