This is a lovely vintage Japanese cultured saltwater akoya pearl and yellow gold choker necklace.
The pearls measure 5.50-5.75mm with great luster and rosy overtones. They are a white color and graduated. Luster is a bit varied among pearls.
The clasp is solid 14K yellow gold and is a modern filigree style. It is stamped "14K". Total length is 15.75in, it is a tight choker. From the 1940's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
