This is a lovely vintage strand of authentic Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls round to slightly off round in shape and range from 6.25-6.50mm and have good luster and rosy pink overtones. Medium amount of blemishes.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver with a yellow gold wash. It is stamped "STERLING". Total length is 16 inch, it is a choker. From Japan 1940's-1970's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
