This is a stunning mid-century modernist pearl brooch with gray Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearls.
The pearls are large and measure 8.00-8.50mm with a silver/gray body color. They have very good luster with rosy overtones.
It is made of solid sterling silver and has a mix of brushed texture and high polish. Stamped "SILVER" for solid sterling silver. It measures 1 3/4 inches long. From mid-century Japan.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
