This is a engraved pair of mid century modern Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl and black onyx cufflinks.
The pearls are 7.00mm round. They are highly lustrous with pink overtones. They are set on top of jet black polished onyx. One has a light scratch.
They are made of solid sterling silver with milgrain edges. They are stamped for "SILVER" for solid sterling silver. They measure 1 inch across the face. From Japan 1930's-1970's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
