This is a rare pair of blue Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl clip earrings.
The pearls are 5.25-6.00mm and very slightly baroque. They have great luster with rosy overtones and lovely rich blue color.
They are set in solid sterling silver with a swirl detail. Not stamped but solid sterling silver. They measure 3/4 of an inch. From Japan 1930's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
