This is a retro atomic era Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl cluster brooch. It features plentiful pearls in a burst setting.
The pearls are 4.75-7.00mm round. They have great luster with bright rosy pink overtones. Total of 37 pearls.
It is made of solid sterling silver. It has an atomic burst design with the pearls radiating from the center. There is a hidden cherry blossom motif on the back. It is stamped "SILVER" for sterling silver. It measures 1 3/4 inches long. From Japan 1950's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. Some patina.
