This is a rare and unusual twisted Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl station necklace.
It features fifteen lustrous pearls measuring 4.50-5.00mm round. They have good luster with light to medium pink overtones. They are set into five stations that are a swirl design with milgrain and hand engraving.
It is in solid sterling silver and is stamped "SILVER". Total length is 16 inch. It has a marquise shaped box clasp. From Japan 1930's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
