This is a stunning quality vintage bright green nephrite jade & Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl necklace & bangle bracelet set.
The necklace features seven (7) stations with bright apple green jade cabochons with dark green spots and two white lustrous akoya pearls on each. The jade is prong set and surrounded by hand engraved patterns and fine milgrain. The pearls have lovely rosy pink overtones. It is finished by a fishhook clasp stamped "SILVER", and older mark for sterling. It measure 16 inch, it is a choker.
The bracelet is a pierced style bangle with three jade cabochons accented by white lustrous pearls. It features the same quality hand engraving and milgrain details. It has an attached safety chain and is stamped "SILVER" for sterling silver.
This set is of exceptional quality and is from early to mid-century Japan. Fantastic condition.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
