This is an vintage mid-century graduated Japanese cultured saltwater akoya pearl double strand necklace.
The pearls measure 3.25-7.50mm with good luster and light rosy overtones. Moderate amount of natural blemishes. They have inconsistent luster or dull spots. Some have darker blemishes. They are mainly round but some are off round.
The clasp is solid sterling silver has a single pearl in the center. It is stamped "SILVER" for sterling silver. Total length is 16 & 16.75 inch. From mid-century Japan.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
