This is a lovely vintage pair of modernist marquise Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl cufflinks.
The pearls are 6.00mm round. They have great luster with bright rosy overtones. They are set into a marquise or navette mother of pearl tablet.
They are made of solid sterling silver and are marked "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Japan 1940's-1970's. The measure 1 inch across.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. Could use a professional polish if desired.
