This is a stunning high quality mid-century Japanese blue akoya saltwater cultured pearl ring.
The pearls are 5.00-6.75mm round with a bright blue to gray blue bodycolor and pink overtones. The two in the middle are a slightly lighter shade or gray, nice gradient design. Good quality.
It is set in solid sterling silver with hand detailed leaf design. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Currently a US size 6 1/2 but has an adjustable band. From Japan 1950's-1970's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
