This is a classic circle wreath leaf Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.

The pearls are 4.75-5.00mm round. They have sharp luster with bright rosy pink overtones. They are a white/cream color.

It is made of solid sterling silver and has a unique design of leaves with milgrain edging. Stamped "SILVER" an older mark for sterling. From Japan 1950-1960's. It measures 1 1/8 inches long.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
