This is a stunning pair of Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl & carved mother of pearl screwback cadge earrings.
The pearls are in a free moving cadge and they measure 4.50-5.75mm round. They have great luster with rosy overtones and white color. The mother of pearl is hand carved.
They are stamped "SILVER" for sterling silver. The earrings measure 1 1/2 inch long. From Japan 1930's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
