This is a lovely mid-century high quality Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl cluster brooch.
The pearls are 4.25-6.75mm round. They have fantastic luster with sharp rosy pink overtones.
It is made of solid sterling silver. It has a high polished design with hand engraved and milgrained leaves. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. It measures just under 2 inches across. From Japan 1950's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
