This is a lovely pair of modernist burst Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback earrings.

The pearls are round akoya pearls with great luster and rosy pink overtones. They are between 5.50-7.50mm. 

They are stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling silver. From Japan 1950's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
