This is a stunning mid-century bright blue baroque Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl grape dangle pendant.
The pearls measures an average of 7.50mm and are a medium blue color with rosy pink overtones. They are a baroque or drop shape.
It is made of solid sterling silver and features a swirling vine and a single brushed grape leaf in the center. Total pendant drop is 1 3/4 inch. Stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. From Japan 1950's-1970's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
