This is a stunning vintage floral braided Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.
The pearls measure 4.50mm. They have great like luster with bright rosy overtones.
It is made of solid sterling silver and has a unique design. It measures 2 1/4 inches long. Not stamped, but tested solid sterling. It has an old style trombone clasp that was popular in the early 1900's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
