This is a boho style floral wreath brooch or pin made with Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearls.
The pearls are 4.50mm and are round. They have great luster with bright pink overtones. They are a white/cream color.
It is made of solid sterling silver and has a unique swirling design of leaves with milgrain edging. The leaves have delicate cuts in the metal which catch the light. Stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. From Japan 1950-1960's. It measures 1 1/2 inches long.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
