This is a stunning bright blue/gray strand of authentic Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls measure 6.50-6.75mm and have great luster and pinkish overtones. They are a blue/gray color that is just stunning. Moderate amount of blemishes.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver with with hand engraving and a single white pearl set in the center. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 15.75 inch, it is a choker. From Japan 1940-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
