This is a stunning pair of Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback fan earrings.
The pearls are 5.00mm round. They have soft luster with light rosy overtones and white color. They are set in solid sterling silver with a black rhodium coating, very stunning contrast. Stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 7/8 inches. Very light wear through the black coating due to age.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
