This is a lovely baroque vintage Japanese saltwater cultured akoya pearl and sterling silver choker necklace.
It features lustrous cream colored pearls with rosy overtones. They measure 7.50-7.75mm and are a very baroque shape. They have fantastic luster. Medium amount of blemishes as is common with baroque pearls.
Total length 14.25 Inch, it is a very tight mid-neck choker. Great for layering. The clasp is hand engraved with milgrain detailing and a pearl set in the center. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling silver. From Japan 1940-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
