This is a unique baroque blue mid century modern Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl tie bar.
The pearl is a double pearl that measures 7.00mm round. It has great luster with light pink overtones. It is a medium blue/silver color.
The setting is made of solid silver and has a cross hatch texture. Stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 1 1/8 inch. From Japan 1950's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
