This is a vintage bamboo bar brooch with gray/blue Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearls and sterling silver.

The pearls are 5.50-5.75mm with a light blue/gray body color. They have great luster with multicolor overtones. No noticeable blemishes. Very unique color.

It is made of solid sterling silver and has high polished silver with stardust textured bars. Modernist design. Stamped "950" for slightly more pure than sterling silver. It measures 2 3/8 inches long. From mid-century Japan. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
