This is a lovely mid-century modern Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl cluster brooch with an atomic age design.
The pearls are 5.75-6.00mm round. They have fantastic luster with sharp rosy pink overtones.
It is made of solid sterling silver. The leaves have a diamond brushed texture with delicate milgrain along the edges. It is stamped "STERLING". It measures 1 3/4 inches long. From Japan 1950's-1960's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
