This is a lovely art nouveau brooch with many petite Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearls among delicate leaves.

The pearls are 3.50-7.00mm round. They have great luster with rosy pink overtones. 

It is made of solid sterling silver. It has a gathered branch design with fine engraving and milgrain on the leaves. There is also areas of hammer texture on the stems. It is stamped "STERLING" "950" which is a little more pure than traditional sterling silver. It measures 2 1/2 inches long. From Japan 1940's-1950's. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
