This is a stunning strand of authentic vintage Art Deco Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls are 4.00-7.25mm and very round. They have mirror like luster with extremely bright rosy overtones. Very few blemishes.
Clasp is in solid yellow gold is stamped "K18" which is a common mark for 18K in Japan. It is an unusual design that is accented with leaf engravings and a single seed pearl. Very deco look. Total length is 20.50 inches. From Japan 1930-1940's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
