This is a lovely strand of vintage art deco Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls measure 5.50-6.00mm and round. They have great luster with exceptional rosy pink overtones. Very few blemishes. They are a white/cream color.
Clasp is in solid solid sterling and features hand engraving. It is stamped "925". Total length is 16.50 inches. From Japan 1920's-1940's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung. Few scratches on the clasp.
