This is an antique art deco Japanese cultured saltwater akoya pearl double strand necklace.

The pearls measure 5.00-5.50mm with fantastic luster and light rosy overtones. Light amount of natural blemishes. Very good quality.

The clasp is solid sterling silver and is a detailed box style with milgrain details and hand engraving. Very deco look. It is stamped "SILVER" for sterling silver. Total length is 15.75 & 16.75 inch, it is a choker. It has a side safety lock. From early 1900's Japan.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
