This is an unusual vintage large blue/gray Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl leaf ring.
The pearls are 8.50-8.75mm and baroque. They have good luster with light rosy overtones and are a light blue/gray color. They have natural blemishes and wrinkles. They are set among an engraved leaf design.
It is set in solid sterling silver and is stamped "STERLING". US size 6.50. From the 1930's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
