This is a vintage strand of semi-baroque Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.
The pearls measure 5.75-6.75mm and have great luster with rosy pink overtones. They are round to semi-baroque.
Clasp is in solid sterling silver with a single pearl in the center. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 17 inch. From mid-century or later.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
