This is a lovely set of mid-century Japanese saltwater cultured akoya pearl and sterling silver tie bar & cufflinks by Fuji Pearl.
They feature highly lustrous pearls with exceptionally bright rosy overtones. They measure 6.00-6.50mm and are round with even color. They are set into square white mother of pearl. They have a ribbon design along the edges.
They are stamped "SILVER" which is an older Japanese mark for sterling. Original box is made of silk and blue velvet. Fuji Pearl was a popular designer in Japan and went out of business over 50 years ago.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
