This is a lovely pair of vintage Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl leaf stud earrings. 

The pearls measure 4.75mm and have great luster and bright rosy pink overtones. They have an engraved design. Possibly Mikimoto as this is one of their styles, but no stamp as the screwback portion was removed in order to convert these into pierced earrings. 

They are stamped "925" for sterling silver on the butterfly backs. Earrings are unstamped.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
