This is a a pair of post WWII Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl screwback earrings.

The pearls are 7.00mm round, they have good luster and a silvery white color. They have light pink overtones. They are surrounded by milgrain details. 

They are made of solid sterling silver but not stamped for metal content. They are stamped "CPO" for the Central Processing Office which regulated metals exports directly after the war. From 1950's-1960's. Total length is 1 inch. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
