This is a a pair of engraved Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl screwback leaf climber earrings.
The pearls are 4.25-6.00mm. They have great luster, a white color and rosy pink overtones.
They are made of solid silver and stamped "STERLING 950", which is slightly more pure than standard sterling silver. They are set among an engraved and milgrained leaf design. Total length is 3/4 inch. From 1930's-1980's Japan.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
