This is a stunning pair of antique Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback earrings.
The pearls are both post set akoya pearls and prong set seed pearls. The pearls range in both color and quality and are a very unique set of earrings. The colors range from white to pink to cream and even gray. They are between 2.50-7.50mm. Not stamped but solid sterling silver. Finely detailed with milgrain edging and nicely made.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
