This is a rare pair of claw prong set buttercup style Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback earrings.
The pearls are 6.00mm round, they have great luster with rosy overtones. The pearls are set into a claw prong buttercup type setting.
They are made of solid sterling silver but not stamped. From 1910's-1950's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
