This is a lovely pair of vintage sakura cherry blossom Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl screwback earrings.
The pearls are round akoya pearls with great luster and rosy pink overtones. They measure 5.00mm. They are stamped "STERLING" for sterling silver. They are old and from Japan during the 1930's-1950's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. They appear to have been gold plated at one point but almost none of it remains.
