This is a quality modernist era Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch that takes the shape of a feather.

The pearls are lustrous and measure 6.00-7.75mm and have extremely bright rosy pink overtones.

It is made of solid sterling silver and has a swirling design. It is stamped "STERLING" for sterling silver. It measures 3 1/8 inches long. From Japan, 1950's-1980's. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
