This is a stunning vintage mid-century engraved leaf Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.

The pearls measure between 5.75-6.75mm. They have sharp luster with bright rosy pink overtones. They are a white color. 

It is made of solid sterling silver and detailed engraved leaves. It also has milgraining up the sides and delicate accent texturing. It measures 1 7/8 inches wide. Not stamped but solid sterling silver. From Japan 1950's-1960's.  

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
