This is a lovely petite blue Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl & yellow gold necklace. 

The pearls are a medium/dark blue/gray color. They have light rosy pink overtones and good luster. Quite a few natural blemishes, very baroque. Some variation in color and luster. They measure from 3.50-3.75mm. They are very small.

Clasp is tube style with a side safety lock. It is stamped "14K" for solid yellow gold. Total length is 17 inches. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
