This is a lovely vintage blue Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl & yellow gold double strand necklace. 

The pearls are a medium blue/gray color. They have light rosy pink overtones and good luster. Quite a few natural blemishes, slightly baroque. Some variation in color and luster. They measure from 6.00-6.50mm, very slightly graduated.

Clasp is box style with a side safety lock. It is stamped "14K" for solid yellow gold. Total length is 17.50 & 19.50 inches. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
