This is a stunning vintage whimsical vine Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl brooch.

The pearls are 5.50-5.75mm round. They have fantastic luster with bright rosy overtones. They are set among a detailed and textured leaf motif.

It is made of solid sterling silver. It measures 1 5/8 inches long. Stamped "STERLING". From Japan 1950's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
