This is a lovely blue/gray Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearl and sterling silver tie tac by Maruwa Pearl Co.
They features a lustrous pearl with rosy overtones and a blue/gray color. It measures 7.50mm and is round.
It is not stamped but pin is silver and the back, chain and button loop are base metal. Original box is made hard plastic and light cream silk and velvet. It is stamped "MARUWA PEARL CO" "CULTURED PEARLS" "MADE IN JAPAN". From Japan, 1950's-1980's.
All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
